The mark consists of To the left, a graphic design consisting of a circle having a red outer rim surrounding a black band around a green center which contains a red design shaped like a four-spined umbrella, and at the center of that, a small green circle containing the picture of a flame in red and yellow. The red umbrella-shaped design contains, in the four compass directions, profiles of the head of a helmeted firefighter in the colors black, yellow, white and brown, commencing at the North position and proceeding clockwise. The black band contains the word "FIREFIGHTER'S" in the upper half, in a convex array, and the word "ABC'S" in the lower half, in a concave array. Directly below the circular design just described is a curved ribbon approximately following the contour of the circular design. The ribbon has a hairline black border, a red background, and contains the word "DIVERSITY" in white lettering.
